An Important Note About HSP

Here at HSPConnection, we use the term HSP to mean “highly sensitive physiology.” This usage highlights the fact that high sensitivity is actually rooted in a person’s genes and physiology and is not solely an aspect of the personality. We’re still talking about the “highly sensitive person” but with a deeper focus that allows for some effective strategies for dealing with the various challenges that people with HSP face.

The term also highlights the fact that HSP is an evolutionary strategy, selected for over millions of years. HSP has a purpose designed by nature.

How to Join HSP Groups

The groups listed below are divided into phone meetings and zoom meetings. HSPConnection also has free HSP forums and HSP discussion groups. The main focus of the community is on health and well being as well as physically connecting people with HSP by allowing them to search by distance for other people who experience life through HSP.

The phone and zoom groups require at least a verified membership to attend. Create a free account to get started, and to access the community and free HSP resources.

Gifted Support Group

The term “Gifted” can mean many things. In this group, we are referring to “gifted and talented” individuals, that is, those with an IQ over 130. A 2015 study found that almost 90% of gifted individuals are also highly sensitive. If this is you, join us.

Gifted Parenting
